An Oklahoma Licensed Health Services Psychologist, Dr. Tobin has provided both mental health services and organizational consulting services for over twenty two years.
As a mental health professional it is my goal to support individuals in their efforts to achieve confidence and satisfaction in their life and their relationships, (Family/marriage and community).
As a organizational consultiant it is my goal to support individuals and their organizations enhance their potential and the emergence of effective transformational leadership.
Through his clinical practice Paul focuses on family issues with special interest in helping individuals, (adolescents and adults and their families), and couples manage difficult relationships. His use of interpersonal and family systems therapies provides a strategy for counseling that encourages people to achieve enhanced self-awareness, self confidence and improved satisfaction in relationships. His experience with individuals, and their families, in both outpatient and inpatient settings, enhances his capacity to assist in a wide range of clinical needs and levels of emotional adjustment. He works closely with local resources such as family physicians, psychiatrists, schools, churches, community mental health facilities, and other such community-based support and referral resources.
Through his organizational consulting practice Paul focuses on the enhancement of visionary leadership throughout organizations. His use of systemic organizational leadership training provides a transformational model for change and leadership enhancement. Dr. Tobin emphsizes the development and enhancement of both cognitive and emotional intellegence as sources of individual and organizational development. His experiences working with individuals and groups in various fields, (medical, educational, municipal and state governmental, and privately owned corporations), enhances his capacity to assist organizations and their executives through transactual and transformational stages of development. Services include assessment, training, executive coaching, organizational conflict intervention and program development, (management and leadership enhancement; employee assistance services, etc.).
Dr. Tobin is active in state and national associations as a member of the American Psychological Association and it's divisions of Counseling Psychologist and Society of Consulting Psychologist. Additionally, he is a member of the Oklahoma Psychological Association's Division of Health Services Providers, and past Chair of the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
